Black Dragon & VAMP @ Walmart

Got mine last night at WM. I'd like to state for the record that I really think those that 'work the floor' at WM have no common sense and/or severe lack of customer service. Took 25 minutes of me standing in front of two workers telling them (very politely) that I'd been told on the phone that they had the items in stock and that if they were not on the shelf to ask an associate to get them from the back. The two associates would NOT for the life of them go check the back but instead walked around and around 'looking' for the vehicles. Finally they said I'd have to talk to a manager about it. So I ran the story by the manager (who was very polite herself) and she promptly scanned the number, went to the back, and came out with the VAMP and BD.

I picked up 1 of each during lunch yesterday in Oklahoma. I really love the Steel Brigade Delta figure. The Cobra Air Pilot is nice, but not great in my opinion. The helmet is too small but would make a great Battle Corps Rock 'N Roll head if your into that kind of thing.

ya some dont know how to do there job but glad you got them.

I like this vamp in green vs the other tan one with Clutch but I plan on displaying them both together with some sort of dio where Clutch and SB Delta are friends/competitors between their respective VAMPs

As of last night, North East Philadelphia Wal-Marts that still carry G.i.Joe had the Skystriker and the 12" Joe figures, but only an empty spot on the shelf with a UPS label marking where the Black Dragon and Vamp will go. No new figures yet either.

My local TRUs had exactly the same.

It's that awkward time where you have to keep dropping by the store everyday so that you don't miss the boat.

That's different from what I had been told while I was trying buy an unrelated item, I was told they had to scan the bar code on the shelf, and that someone from the back would bring it out.
