Hasbrocon?---------no for me

Really, the only reason I'd see a toymaker do a convention for many of it's lines would be if they didn't have any flagship or really popular lines or just for those less popular lines. IE: Playmatecon could be for Barnyard Commandos, Ronin Warriors, Superhuman Samurai Cyber Squad, etc... but you wouldn't make that combine with something like a Ninja Turtles con or a Simpsons convention

As for Hasbro's comment about a Transformers/GI Joe toyline:

First off, I already think the Human Alliance Sandstorm with Private Dedcliff is a nod to a renegades Duke and the Awe-Striker and I like that. I'm not sure I'd like this scale for a full fledged crossover toyline. In a perfect world it would be very large Transformers with our normal sized Joes.

Secondly, what kind of thinking are they prescribing to? I understand the idea of not blowing all of your best ideas right off the bat, but that's usually reserved for new toylines (I would imagine) With established lines like Transformers & GI Joe it seems like this would just be a simple step, not a last resort as they're making it sound like. Waiting till there's no more ideas and the lines are dying is the wrong time to do something like this. I would think by that time, you've already lost many of your potential buyers for that type of a line

Cool show as usual

Just listened to the POC Special Edition podcast. Nice review of the line, I hadn't realised it had been over a year already. I forgot about many of the first wave figures :) I do think I have to correct Chuck on saying Low Light was the only vintage reproduction figure as we also have Crazy Legs and to a lesser extent, Rock Viper, Steel Brigade & Wave 3 Snake Eyes. Though I could concede SE & SB are just homages and not reproductions, while RV is just not as faithful to the original. (Just like a few of the 25th figures were kinda questionable)
