So as some of you may know, before JoeCon this year our very own, enormously generous Gyre-Viper decided to host a contest over on the hisstank forums, in which anyone who attended the con could enter by posting a battle scene photo of the con figures while the convention was taking place, the prize? A MOC SDCC Triple T Slaughter!!! I dreamed of winning this contest as Slaughter is one of my favorite characters, and like nearly everyone here, despite F5ing to death I never was able to get one from HTS. I spent the weeks leading up to the con thinking of various scenarios I could put the figures in when I got them to try and win the contest, ultimately going with this:

and low and behold, I WON!!!!!

And today sitting on my doorstep arrived a box...what happened next is below:





Thanks so much to Gary/Gyre for hosting such an awesome contest, and for being so generous to give me the chance to own a figure I likely wouldn't have for a very very long time, and to Roshan for picking my entry. Just another example of why the Joe fan community is so awesome.

I've noticed GYRE is the most generous guy there is on the joe fandom.
