POC Hawk & Steel Brigade IN-HAND PICS (Wave 5).

Out of all the figures in wave 5 and 6 the Steel Brigade trooper is the one that has grown on me most. At first I thought it was a complete bastardization of the original but every new pic I see I get more excited for it release. I can't wait to have a little squad of 6. Whether they'll be a special mission team or cannon fodder? I do not know. I have a feeling that once I open him up it's going to be love.

As far as the new Hawk goes like many other people have said he'll make an excellent modern green shirt. I love his gear and all but I think this one is just going to be parts for customs.

I recognize most parts used for Hawk - except the helmet/goggles. Are they from POC Dusty?

Heh, I like the multiple posts of people focusing in on the CS Scarlett. Way to derail your own thread Gary.

As I said before I will army build the SB troopers a little. Hawk...I only need one of him. I can only handle General Hawk in small doses - no offense to Justin of course.

Also, City Strike Scarlett could've been the update to the character that all of fandom was waiting for. It was a little dark for me, but swap in some lighter grays for all that black armor and it could've redefined her look. Awesome example of woulda-coulda-shoulda.

Steel Brigade is great. Only getting one and he's going to be a new named Joe.

Like Justin, I never liked the Steel Brigade concept. My Joe forces don't have green shirts.

Hawk is a great figure, but he isn't Hawk. He'll be Hard Drive in my Joeverse.
