-To help you out with the individual character count (troopers and army builders are not added) on whom we are missing from the cartoon, I put this together a while ago after watching every episode of the Sunbow A.R.A.H. cartoon last summer. (I did not count the DiC cartoon as I have not seen all of that so far.)

So far, through May, 2011, we are only missing 12 characters that have been made in o-ring form in the 25th/ME/RoC/PoC/Resolute scale.

*Note - Not all characters have the the exact costume. For Example: Law & Order.

Here is the list of Joes that appeared most in the ARAH Sunbow Cartoon. There were a total of 65 story arcs that expanded into 100 episodes (including the movie).
**Note - On the list, I had only counted the story arc that the character was in as many episodes ran together making that story arc.

Interestingly enough, of the 67 Joes that were in the cartoon. Lady Jaye was in the cartoon the most. I would have thought it would have been someone else.

Also, we are only missing 8 total Joe characters from the cartoon. They Are:

Looking at the unmade characters, I realise I've only made a custom of one of them (Tollbooth) I will say though, a cartoon accurate Flint is pretty easily made. Tiger Force Duke with a Flint head and some paint on the pants will get you a passible one, a little more effort and you can have a really good one

I feel that Footloose and Law & Order should not be counted. The ROC Footloose is movie-styled and feels more like a re-imagining of the character rather than a vintage/Sunbow homage. I feel largely the same about the ROC Law, and I'm not sure I think the upcoming Renegades version qualifies either (though it does look like a pretty cool figure that could probably be recolored to feel like a vintage-inspired update).

Cover Girl is also fairly shaky. The ROC version almost certainly should not count since it definitely is not intended as an homage to the vintage version. However, I still feel like Sparta *is* Cover Girl, so maybe that figure is enough to consider the character to be done. It would be nice to get Hasbro to make a MASS Device Cover Girl with blond hair and the proper jacket. Since Cover Girl is dead in the movieverse, Hasbro shouldn't still use the excuse that it would cause confusion (which didn't prevent them from making a "Ripcord"), though I'm sure they'll stick to the "female figures don't sell" excuse.

I agree on on the RoC Footloose and Law & Order. They're not bad representations, but they're not the classics that many collectors want.

I'm not taking Cover Girl off the list, either, but I think the Club's Glenda parts open the door for CG to be one of the Club's subscription figures. I think Footloose is a distinct possibility there, too, thanks to Claymore's helmet.

Woah! How did I miss this opportunity to jump up and down on the fanboy grave of Cover Girl once more? Ppfftt....
