Hi everyone,

I'm a big fan of the behind the scenes stuff of G.I. Joe, so when I get a chance to see things like concept art or cancelled ideas, or anything like that, I get pumped. I hope they make the Hasbro archives a panel every year, because that was by far one of the coolest things they had, makes me wish I could have gone. Through the course of my collecting I've been lucky enough to get two pieces of presentation artwork, one of Mercer and the other of Bazooka.

I'll also say that Bazooka is my favorite character, and has been since I was two, and that these are my favorite pieces of my collection and they are not for sale, so please don't ask. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing! Bazooka and mercer are two of my favorite characters. You would have loved the declassifed booth, there were dozens of pieces of preproduction art, 2 ups, test shots and prototypes. It was amasing stuff.

Cool, thank you for sharing! Mercer looks like he's ready to rumble! Would you say that is an anti-armor projectile shooter in Bazookas right hand? With the accessory trees, I've wondered if anyone unique weapons were ever drawn out with the Battle Corps designs at any point.

It's interesting that even the concept art in the early '90s follows the way comic books were being draw at the time (the Rob Liefeld-esque muscles and proportions). Very cool, thanks for sharing!

That Mercer actually looks like it was drawn by Liefeld.
